Skills Growth for Tech Professionals

Stay ahead. Level up. Connect.

Technology never stands still, and neither should your career. At Nashville Software School, we're committed to empowering tech professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to stay ahead and thrive in an ever-changing landscape. Our Continuing Education courses help you stay on top of your skills, level up in your career, and connect with industry professionals and peers. Local meetups and community organizations also play an important role in your professional development by helping you grow your network and learn from others in your field.

Why choose our Continuing Education courses?

Our continuing education courses go beyond surface-level introductions, diving deep into in-demand technologies, methodologies, and concepts.

  • Learn from Industry Experts: Engage with seasoned professionals who bring real-world experience to the classroom.
  • In-Depth Training: Go beyond the basics with immersive sessions that equip you for real-world application.
  • Career Investment: Elevate your skills with hands-on training designed for real-world impact. Some students even secure tuition reimbursement through their employers—check with yours to see if it's an option.

Grow your skills, earn a certification, or explore new technologies with Nashville Software School's Continuing Education courses.

Continuing Education with ProTech

ProTech is designed to support junior and intermediate tech job seekers in maintaining their competitive edge in the job market and sustain engagement in their job search. Through the professional development courses offered through ProTech, job seekers can learn new skills to differentiate themselves in the job market and stay connected to a supportive community—all while keeping their existing skills sharp.

ProTech classes are free for qualified individuals who have existing entry-level tech skills in software development, data analytics, or data science and are searching for their first tech job or are unemployed due to layoffs in the tech industry. Students must reside in Middle Tennessee, but do not need to be a graduate of NSS. More details on eligibility for these classes will be provided on the program page for each class once applications open.

ProTech is partially funded under a Grant Contract with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
